The Lion and the Rat

The Lion and the Rat is a fable in which a lion saves the life of a rat. Later the lion needs help and the rat comes to help him.

Moral: We always need someone smaller than ourselves.
Extension of this morality, if we are nice to others we will be nice to ourselves in return.

This fable is really great for working on self-confidence with children. The rat faces his fears and makes a new friend. He is proud!
